Lizette's resume is a rich mosaic -
as textured with experience, beauty and spirit as the vivid images she produces on canvas. The Lizette FACES is a coming of age for both the artist and her art. Lizette admits she is uninhibited by trends or acclaimed works of her contemporaries. True to her individualistic form, FACES is a genuine expression of the emotions and colors of the feminine spirit. Her journey as a recognized artist began in high school where she received the Senior Art Award. In 1974, Lizette opened Sign Design specializing in applying art design to glass windows, wood, signs and other surfaces. In 1982, she turned to jewelry and metalsmithing at Eastern Kentucky University -- arts she would practice and show for three years before experimenting with dimensional textures, shapes and images on canvas. All of her early works have since sold at auction or to private collectors. Life changes, including moves to Los Angeles and Phoenix, took precedence over her craft until 1998 when Lizette returned to painting with the development of her current collection, the Lizette FACES Collection. In 1999, the virtual gallery Lizette.com was created. As a featured artist on Studio.com for December 1999, a new avenue for the artwork opened on the Internet. A new direction taken in July 2001 when a series of masks were created with the face designs. They are sold in New Orleans and Key West. Future designs will be applied to evening bags, jewelry and clothing. One of a kind items will be signed and numbered. Lizette is represented on WorldsBestArt.com. Currently, the
